Overview

UpBuild is a personal finance app that helps you track income, expenses, transfers, and account balances. This policy explains how your data is handled.

Data storage

Your financial data — including accounts, transactions, categories, tags, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Core Data.

UpBuild does not operate its own backend for storing your financial records. Your data does not leave your device unless you explicitly export it.

Data collection

UpBuild does not collect, transmit, or store personal information for analytics, advertising, tracking, or profiling.

Exchange rate data

To show multi-currency totals, the app fetches exchange rate data from open.er-api.com. Only the requested base currency code is sent. No personal data, device identifiers, or financial records are transmitted in those requests.

Purchases

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. UpBuild does not access, collect, or store payment or billing information.

Third-party services

Apart from the exchange-rate provider described above, UpBuild does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Export and import

You can export your data as a backup file and import it later. Exported files may contain sensitive financial information, so you should store them securely.

Your control

You can delete transactions, accounts, or categories inside the app. To remove all app data, you can delete the app from your device.

Future updates

If future versions of the app introduce features that require data collection or account-based services, this policy will be updated before those changes take effect.
